The IAPR Technical Committee on Biometrics invites proposals to host the 4th IAPR/IEEE International Conference on Biometrics (ICB 2011). Proposals are due by May 11th, 2009. All bids will be evaluated by the IAPR Technical Committee on Biometrics and the final decision will be announced at ICB09.

ICB is the biennial conference organized by the IAPR Technical Committee on Biometrics (TC4). ICB was established in 2006 by merging AVBPA, ICBA, and other workshops, and has become the flagship and premier international conference on biometrics. The first ICB was held in Hong Kong, the second ICB was held in Seoul, Korea and the third ICB will be held in Alghero, Italy on June 2nd to 5th 2009.

Your proposal should include information on (but not limited to):

• the Host organization;
• conference venue and dates (verify possible clashes with other major conferences in closely related fields);
• available accommodation;
• advertisement plan;
• working plan and timetable with critical milestones;
• budget estimates;
• endorsement & financial support;
